Numbers: Piece of Cake |
 |
You are having a night in with some friends tonight,
so you decide to buy a cake to share from Spend Less supermarket.
You need to work out how many parts to cut the cake into so that everyone can have a piece.
The cake you have bought can be cut into slices.
These slices of the cake are parts of the whole cake.
Slices of a cake can be used to represent fractions or parts of a whole.
In each of the diagrams below a fraction
or part has been shaded.
Use the fractions given to fill in the shaded part.
Click on the diagram you want to start with, then click on the fraction you want to use to fill the shaded part.
If you have selected the correct fraction it will appear in the shaded section.
