This lists your jobs in order, starting with your most recent.
 
Pros Easy to follow, shows continuity

Cons Highlights sketchy work history/job hopping

  Functional

This points out your main areas of accomplishment and strength,
often without dates.
 
Pros Allows you flexibility in ranking importance/ priority of content

Cons Doesn't show development/advancement

Doesn't highlight past employers
  Targeted

This is aimed at a specific market. It is "future directed".
 
Pros Emphasises abilities and potential

Cons Need a different CV for each application

Limiting when first starting on your career ladder
