In 2007 the London Development Agency commissioned Red Kite Learning to create a series of online capacity building courses for organisations receiving LDA/ESF co-funding. 

The courses were designed and developed by Red Kite Learning based on seminars run by Zennor Consulting on behalf of the LDA. The seminars covered topics designed to help organisations learn about key tasks such as writing a business plan, using effective project management techniques, and creating a sustainable funding strategy.

The courses were created using Moodle, and as well as including key documents and handouts from the courses, Red Kite Learning filmed key presentations from the seminars, which could be played using a bespoke video player which combines video and other assets. An example can be seen in this video introduction to the course on writing a business plan. 

For this project Red Kite Learning also developed a mechanism for the seamless integration of user credentials from the LDA capacity building website to the Moodle course website, enabling users to link from one site to the other without the need for two separate logins.
