In 2007-8 Brendan Tarring visited a number of charities and social enterprises around the globe. The range of organisations was huge, from a residential self-help organisation working with ex-offenders in San Francisco, to one working to alleviate the consequences of HIV and AIDS in South Africa.
Here are some of the interviews drawn from these encounters. They were created with the aim of sharing different perspectives and ideas about the nature of organisations, fundraising and individual empowerment.
