Red Kite Learning worked closely with the Campaign for Learning in the development of their Curious Londoners Campaign and subsequent toolkit. We have consequently used this format - based on the premise that a desire to learn can be stimulated by curiosity - in the delivery of promotional campaigns within London.

Skills for Life East London brochure
As part of the wider Skills for Life East London project, we were commissioned by the Learning and Skills Council London East to produce a brochure raising awareness of the vital role that frontline staff and small employers could play within the Skills for Life agenda.
The brochure, distributed widely across the 10 London East boroughs, highlighted the impact of language, literacy and numeracy skills on clients and staff. We received an extremely positive response to the brochure attracting over 240 delegates to the events with the conference and many of the seminars being oversubscribed.

Southwark Network for Lifelong Learning (SNLL) annual conference flyers
Southwark Council wanted to rejuvenate the Southwark Network for Lifelong Learning (SNLL) following a period of inactivity. The 2004 annual conference provided the platform to launch the network's new format. Conference brochures were designed to reignite awareness and interest in the SNLL network and maximise attendance at the events. Both conferences attracted over 160 delegates, a large number of which were new members. By March 2005 network membership had doubled.

Skill Me Up mini-cards
The Skill Me Up website provides 13-19 year olds in east London with information and courses to help them gain the right skills for their future. Credit card size mini-cards were produced for young people to pick up and store in their wallets. Over 30,000 mini-cards have been distributed across the region to schools, libraries and a range of services and community groups working with young people and parents. The success of the site resulted in the extension of the contract for a further year.
Southwark Adult Learners' Week and Family Learning Week brochures
Building on our management of www.southwarklearning.info we were commissioned by Southwark Council to run promotional campaigns for both 'Family Learning Week' (2004 & 2005) and 'Adult Learners' Week' (2005). Promotional brochures and posters were displayed across Southwark drawing attention to the wide range of activities on offer in the borough.
